Patrick D. Proefriedt, a 26-year-old man in New York State, USA, was holding his 3-week-old daughter in his wife’s arms when he shot a crossbow at them. The baby girl died at the scene, and his wife was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Broome County (Broome County) police said that after a serious argument with his wife Megan (Megan Carey) at the Colesville (Colesville) home on the morning of the 26th, the man Profleet took a crossbow and shot at the man at the time.
