Today, Saturday, corresponding to 7-1-2023, the prices of building materials witnessed an increase in Egypt, which is a shock to contractors.
The price of investment iron rose, as did the price of Ezz Dekheila Steel Company, following their decline yesterday, Friday, as well as the price of gray cement, to continue the rise it witnessed yesterday.
The Daily Prices Portal, in its daily update of the various prices of food and basic commodities and building materials, revealed the new prices of building materials today, Saturday, January 7, in the local markets, as follows:

Iron price
Today, Saturday, the price of investment iron in Egypt rose to 26,280.56 pounds per ton, compared to 25,020.41 pounds per ton on Friday.
Today, Saturday, the price of Ezz El Dekheila Steel increased to 27241.86 pounds per ton, compared to 25259.09 pounds per ton on Friday.
Cement price
The price of gray cement also rose today, Saturday, to 1947.09 pounds per ton, compared to 1936.79 pounds per ton yesterday, Thursday.
