A second AccèsD outage resolved

For the second time in two days, the AccèsD site, which allows millions of Desjardins customers to do their banking transactions online, was down for just over an hour on Tuesday morning.

Just like Monday morning, users trying to log in were hitting an error message that “The page you are looking for cannot be found.” The site was accessible once more around noon.

The financial institution took just over an hour to resolve the problem that was reported to it around 10:45 a.m., according to information shared by Jean-Benoit Turcotti, spokesperson for Desjardins.

On social networks, Internet users were quick to react.

“AccèsD from Desjardins still down this morning, almost at the same time as yesterday …”, can we read in a Twitter post.

Other Internet users are disappointed that the company does not give them more information on social networks. “I’m looking all over Twitter for Desjardins info and can’t find anything… Grrr.” another user wrote.

On Monday, the outage lasted a few hours before services were restored in the early followingnoon.
