This 2024-2025 season will be placed under the sign of creation, and will give pride of place to the gaze of women through 4 new lyrical productions: L’Uomo Femina by Galuppi, a work where codes are reversed, and where women rule the world. It is with jubilation that Agnès Jaoui takes on this surprisingly modern 18th century fable. Le Château de Barbe-Bleue will be the first lyrical production of the Orchestre Français des Jeunes, carried by the energy and talent of its new conductor Kristiina Poska.

Amelie Niermeyer returns to Dijon to stage the most moving event in history: La Traviata. Alongside Dijon Burgundy Orchestraunder the direction of Debora Waldman, that Melody Louledjian will embody the tragic story of Violetta. Finally, it is between Paris and India that we will end the lyrical season with Bizet’s Les Pêcheurs de Perles. This prodigious score will be staged by Mirabelle Ordinaire, a member of the MET in New York for several years.

This season will be an opportunity to meet the greatest soloists such as Renaud Capuçon, Marine Chagnon, Alexandre Tharaud, Bertrand Chamayou… We will also meet the most beautiful symphonic ensembles such as the Orchestre National de France, Le Cercle de l’Harmonie, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the French Youth Orchestra, the Basel Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Orchestre des Champs Elysées, Le Poème Harmonique… Choreographers will also be there such as Angelin Preljocaj, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Christian Rizzo or the Batsheva Ensemble for new creations.

Fatoumata Diawara, Anouar Brahem, Katia Guerreiro will punctuate the season with a few enchanting interludes. Not forgetting a family program that is always as rich with the Choir of the Dijon Opera, the brass ensemble of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, or the family workshops offered throughout the year…

Artists who wish to see you in ever greater numbers thanks to a programme open to all audiences, like the Dijon Opera, a house of performing arts, happy to welcome you to the Auditorium to share ever more intense artistic moments together.
