Immortality thanks to nanobots

The American scientist had, as early as 2005 in his book entitled The Singularity is Near (The Singularity Is Near), considered that human immortality would be achieved by 2030 thanks to converging technological advances, notably with nanorobotics and its widespread use in medicine. According to him, nanorobots could be able to repair human DNA and thus allow us to live forever.

Towards a fusion of man and machine?

In addition to being as effective as a fountain of youth, these nanorobots could also improve the daily lives of human beings. According to the American scientist, they could make it possible to eat without limit and without getting fat, no longer feeling tired or even avoiding illnesses. Artificial intelligences will, at this stage, begin to become conscious.

In 2045, artificial intelligences would even be able to have an intelligence quotient much higher than that of human beings. For the futurist, it will be time for “Singularity”: human beings will become one with machines and artificial intelligence, allowing them to expand their intelligence exponentially.
