A Saudi young man documents his standing on the edge of the most dangerous place in Riyadh • Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Travel blogger, Abdulaziz Al-Damkh, documented, in a video clip and a set of photos, rare scenes from the summit of Mount Fahren, “the edge of the end of the world” near the city of Riyadh.

Al-Damkh told CNN, “You can see camels or tents below, like ants or black dots due to their smallness and distance from you.”

Jabal Fahren is part of the vast slopes of Tuwaiq extending more than 600 km in the center of the Kingdom, which in the past overlooked an ancient trade route used to cross the Arabian Peninsula from Yemen to the Levant and Persia.

Damakh pointed out that the climb to the “edge of the world” usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes, to reach a summit that overlooks many breathtaking landscapes.
