Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Arabiya TV report sheds light on the story of a citizen regarding his farm in Tamir, Riyadh, to a residence for pilgrims on their way to Mecca, where this year it received 500 pilgrims before they went to perform the rituals.

The report stated: “Passengers of this bus arrived from Russia via Dubai,” noting: “Pilgrims decided to travel thousands of kilometers to perform the pilgrimage, and found Abu Rashid to receive them in Tamir, near Riyadh.”

Abu Rashid appeared as he welcomed the Russian pilgrims while receiving them at his farm, saying: “The guests of the Most Merciful and the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques are welcome.”

The report indicated: “Abu Rashid farm has become a stop for pilgrims, especially those coming from Russia, and he does not stop honoring them since their arrival.”

He pointed out: “Tears were shed from one of the women before she performed her prayers in preparation for coffee and dates, and their host, Abu Rashid, greeted them.”

A Russian pilgrim said: “We got to know Abu Rashid several years ago, and he became a frequent recipient of Russian pilgrims from us.”

Another Russian pilgrim said: “A wonderful surprise following a long road, and the end was happy with this reception.”

And the report added: “Abu Rashid has a long story with the Russian pilgrims before pledging to serve them and make his farm a resting place for them,” while Abu Rashid said: “The Russian pilgrims went to them following the World Cup in Russia and met at that time with the Muslim community and the relationship between us became brotherly and they called me and told me that they were coming for Hajj. From Dubai to Medina, they asked me to meet them at a gas station.”

He continued, “I asked them to come to my farm, and I received 120 pilgrims.”
