Consolidated turnover stood at more than 2.45 billion dirhams (MMDH) at the end of June 2022, up 20% compared to the same month of 2021.
In social terms, the net result reached 79 MDH, an improvement of 22% compared to the end of June 2021. The operating result amounted to 131 MDH (+55%) and the EBITDA to 177 MDH (+34 %).
With regard to company turnover, it stood at 2.52 billion dirhams at the end of June 2022, up 25% compared to H1-2021.
“In the first half of 2022, Sonasid achieved a solid financial performance supported by a favorable price effect, induced by a general increase in the prices of raw materials and finished products”, underlines the press release.
In terms of prospects, Sonasid indicates that it is actively pursuing the development of its strategic priorities aimed at operational excellence and the launch of innovative products with a low carbon footprint, indicating that the second half of the year will be marked by the start of production of steel fiber, new product with high added value and real growth driver.
