A Salvadoran gang member with two criminal records is expelled from Guatemala

The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that a gang member of Salvadoran origin was located in Guatemala and expelled to El Salvador.
The Salvadoran was located in Villa Canales, where he was reported by neighbors.
The PNC indicated this Monday, April 22, that a team from the Transnational Anti-Gang Center, in coordination with units from Police Station 15, located and guarded José “N”, 25 years old, for his expulsion.
Alias ”Chepito” has the rank of “palabrero” within the criminal organization of Barrio 18 and had fled El Salvador.
In his country, the detainee has a history of illegal groups and resistance.
Because he was in an irregular immigration status in Guatemala, he was expelled through the Valle Nuevo, Jalpatagua, Jutiapa border, where he was handed over to investigators from El Salvador, who will process him under the Exception Regime with the charge of illicit association.

In another case, the PNC reported that it captured a gang member who was carrying a gun illegally and with a frosted registration.
