The former brigade to which Nikita Shibrin belonged, the 64th Motorized Rifle Brigade, sadly distinguished itself for its criminal activities in the Ukrainian town of Boutcha, which will earn its members the nickname “the butchers of Boutcha”. ”.
The Russian deserter claims for his part that he has never been to this Ukrainian city but to those not far from Lypivka and Andriivka. According to his own words, Nikita Chibrine did not participate in the war crimes perpetrated by his compatriots. He would have limited himself to stewardship for the soldiers.
Between the murders and looting he describes, the former soldier details a horrible scene he witnessed: “They raped a mother and her 17-year-old daughter. They were four in total and they were later arrested. They received a sanction, they were hit with stools before they were fired,” reports Nikita Chibrine.
The latter says he is ready to testify before an international tribunal regarding the horrors committed by his brothers in arms: “Russia must answer for its crimes. Soldiers must not attack civilians. Today, Russia is a terrorist state and all those who preach the cause of terrorists must be punished. They do illegal things”, he denounces.
Today, Nikita Shibrin fled Ukraine to Spain, where he applied for asylum. He is wanted by Moscow and has already received several threats.
