People and royalty
The pressure and the emotion were immense.
This Wednesday, September 14, the coffin of Elizabeth II was transported from Buckingham Palace, her office, to Westminster Hall, the heart of the British parliamentary monarchy. The perfectly executed procession was punctuated by a startling unease.
The BBC intervenes
Posted in front of the catafalque where Her Majesty rests, a royal guard weakened before wavering and falling head first on the ground of Westminster. The sequence, immediately interrupted by the BBC, was however broadcast on social networks en masse. A moment without gravity which testifies to the sometimes overwhelming splendor which punctuated this followingnoon in all historical respects.
