“Whoever signed it should have his eyes tested. It’s not good,” he added.
“I would remove it. It does nothing to commemorate Her Majesty, so I would definitely remove it.”
Brenda from Lisburn thinks the statue should have been “made to look bigger” but “overall it’s really nice” and “you still get what it represents and what it is”.
“It caught my eye right away,” he continued.
“You can see who they are, but I think it definitely had to be her just before she died to capture the whole point of who she was and what she stood for.”
Alejandro from London was visiting Antrim Castle Gardens with two friends from El Salvador.
He thought the statue did not “look like the queen”.
“As it is in her memory, I suppose it’s good, but it doesn’t look like her.
“The dogs and Prince Philip look nice, but the Queen doesn’t look like her,” he added.
