An investigation is underway following a driver lost control of his vehicle on Highway 50 and collided with a lamp post near Gatineau in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The vehicle, which left the road, ended up on its roof, before ending up in the ditch.
A man in his twenties was alone in the vehicle at the time. According to preliminary information, he would have suffered serious injuries, and is in critical but stable condition at present.
Alcohol might be involved in this case.
