A response from Judge Aoun to the Deputy “Forces”: Ask them!

The Public Prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, Judge Ghada Aoun, responded to MP Ghada Ayoub’s question regarding where she reached in the investigation file with the late Michel Moktef and his office, noting that she had accused the company and its owners of money laundering because they transferred $4 billion abroad without knowing the source of the money and proceeded to seal Company offices red wax to ensure compensation.

She added: “You should also ask the Minister of Justice why he refused to transfer legal aid to Switzerland to find out who the money went to, and insisted that the request go through the Public Prosecutor of Discrimination, although there is no need for that because the law on the exchange of information in accordance with the Anti-Corruption Convention established an office in the Ministry of Justice for this purpose. .”
