It should be noted that after taking over the portfolio of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry has been emphasizing that his ministry should also be represented in the Sighting of the Moon Committee to announce the sighting of the moon. Earlier on April 15, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry had claimed that the moon of Ramadan will be visible on April 24 and the first fast in the country will be on April 25.

On this occasion, Mufti Muneebur Rahman said that now the lockdown will not be applied to mosques and the medical advice of keeping distance will be followed, Friday prayers and Taraweeh prayers will be organized in congregation and the series of prayers will continue.
He said that sanitizer and disinfectant spray will be ensured in the mosques.
