Former Prime Minister and leader of Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif has said that a reference should be filed in the Supreme Judicial Council once morest three judges including the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Umar Atta Bandial. He said that this is what we have been seeing for 70 years.
While giving a press conference in London, Nawaz Sharif said that a prime minister like us is pushed and a dictator is hugged, I was called godfather and Sicilian mafia, I don’t understand the double standard, how will the governments in Pakistan run now? As is happening in Pakistan, does it happen in South Asia or other countries of the world?
He said that we have been seeing this for 70 years, since 1953, decisions have been coming under the theory of necessity, for 70 years we have been seeing the same spectacle once more and once more, the elected government is thrown out.
He said that the theory of necessity is only for dictators. The elected Prime Ministers are repeatedly manipulated, the bench of 3 judges is not accepting the decision of 4 judges, this decision is not a one-man show, the decision of 4 judges has already come in this case.
He said that a reference should be filed in the Supreme Judicial Council on the decision once morest these three judges. This decision is the charge sheet once morest these judges. They have rewritten the constitution. , Interior Minister, Chief Election Commissioner and Parliament should be made, why is the full court not made? Why insist on three judges?
The former prime minister said that they say we will protect the judges, if we protect such judges, then what will we do to the institution? What are you telling the nation, we don’t understand these things, they tell the nation that they are ruining Pakistan, why was our full court demand not implemented? What was dictatorial in making a full court, it shows that there is something black in the dal, and the judges are part of the cruel verdict once morest me.
He further said that they say it was a black decision, then did you whitewash it? If you are a justice person then you should have made this full court bench, I said that if such decisions are made then the dollar will become 500 rupees, if such decisions are made then vegetables, pulses and everything will be expensive. People of Pakistan are getting real punishment from these decisions.
