On the evening of October 29, 1,650 people mobilized in the fight against breast cancer by running on the Circuit Paul Ricard.
After a warm-up by a sports coach, participants of all ages set off at sunset to cover the 5.8 km of the circuit by running, walking or even rollerblading. Smiles and motivation were there for this great charitable initiative.
The proceeds from this evening, almost double compared to the 2023 edition, were entirely donated to the “Tout le Monde Contre le Cancer” association. The association’s objective is to provide daily support to patients, but also to families and caregivers.
The check for 16,500 euros was presented by the CSR Manager of the Paul Ricard Circuit, Thibaut Gosselin, and the President of the circuit’s Sports Club, Mélanie Servell, to the head of the “Tout Le Monde Contre Le Cancer” association. Lorie Delalandre.
Thibaut Gosselin, Head of RSE at Circuit Paul Ricard : “The Circuit Paul Ricard was delighted to organize this second edition of the Sunset Run on the occasion of Pink October. This event is fully in line with our company’s CSR policy, which carries out various actions throughout the year in favor of inclusion and diversity at the local level. Thank you to all our partners and participants for their great involvement. »
For this event, the circuit was able to count on the support of ORECA, the Grand Prix Hôtel & Restaurant, the Hôtel & Spa du Castellet, Terre de Running, the Castellet International Airport and the Panoramic Club Restaurant.

**Interview with Sarah Dupont, Event Organizer of the Circuit Paul Ricard Run for Breast Cancer Awareness**
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us, Sarah. On the evening of October 29, you organized an incredible event at the Circuit Paul Ricard. Can you tell us a bit about what inspired this run?
**Sarah Dupont:** Thank you for having me! The inspiration for this event came from a deep desire to raise awareness for breast cancer, a cause that touches many lives. We wanted to create a supportive environment where people can come together, show solidarity, and contribute to the fight against this disease.
**Editor:** It sounds like a fantastic cause. How many participants were there, and what was the atmosphere like at the event?
**Sarah Dupont:** We had an amazing turnout with 1,650 participants! The atmosphere was electric. Starting at sunset, the circuit looked absolutely beautiful, and there was such a sense of community. Everyone was here for a purpose, and that really brought people together—families, friends, and even cancer survivors joined us to run and support one another.
**Editor:** That’s truly inspiring! The course was 5.8 km long. How did you prepare the participants for the run?
**Sarah Dupont:** We kicked off the event with a warm-up led by a professional sports coach, which helped energize everyone before they hit the track. It’s important not only for physical readiness but also for fostering camaraderie among the participants. The warm-up was a fun way to relieve any pre-run nerves!
**Editor:** That sounds like a great way to build excitement! What was the ultimate goal for this run, and how do you plan to continue raising awareness and support for breast cancer in the future?
**Sarah Dupont:** Our primary goal was to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support services. We are still calculating the total contributions but are optimistic that this event will make a significant impact. Looking ahead, we plan to host more events like this and engage the community with workshops, educational sessions, and ongoing campaigns to keep the awareness alive year-round.
**Editor:** It seems like the event was both successful and impactful! Any final thoughts you’d like to share with our audience?
**Sarah Dupont:** I just want to say a huge thank you to all the participants, sponsors, and volunteers who made this event possible. Together, we can continue to spread awareness and support those affected by breast cancer. Let’s keep running toward a cure!
**Editor:** Thank you, Sarah! It’s been great hearing about this wonderful initiative. We look forward to seeing what you have planned next!
