Luck has never smiled so much on Keven Baribeau as in recent months.

After winning $25,000 in the lottery, the young man became a million dollars richer on his birthday.

He remembers saying to his grandmother that very morning that “today was going to be a wicked beautiful day!” But he didn’t know how true that statement was until he had his lottery ticket checked.

“OK, it really is a beautiful day!” he exclaimed following scanning his ticket.

“It looks like I jumped, that it stirred in the cabin,” said the winner in a video published by Loto-Québec.

Keven Baribeau said he wanted to make investments to benefit from long-term financial security.

The Maxmillions ticket was purchased at the Proxi Extra convenience store in Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier.

In the next Lotto Max draw on Friday, the prize pool will amount to $130 million, ie a jackpot of $70 million and approximately 60 prizes of $1 million (Maxmillions).
