She also says that she was aware of rapes suffered by an inmate in his cell by his fellow inmate. The mother of the family explains that she has thus paid for “her franchise”, but not only. “My companion is a former prisoner. The administration never tolerated it. My co-workers are all aware. My superiors too. However, this information is strictly confidential. And this confidentiality was not respected, ”she judges. “An investigation was carried out by the administration to find out if I had known him in detention and if he was under my authority. Mélanie says, however, that she suffered a form of “persecution” from her superiors (schedules modified at the last minute, excessively heavy workloads). Since then, the supervisor, still assigned to Nîmes, has requested her transfer to Béziers for a family reunion. To date, regarding twenty requests have been refused, she laments.
