Maha Abdel Aziz, the wife of the late artist Talal Maddah, spoke regarding the story of the woman who sang the late Talal in the marriage of her son for free to fulfill her dream.

Maha Abdelaziz explained, during the episode of the meeting from scratch, that Talal had a great self-esteem and was not interested in material matters and did not like to ask for anything and he always said thank God for what he has and does not covet much.

And the wife of the late man continued, on one occasion, someone intended to make his son happy, and told him that he had no money to give him in return, and that his wife dreamed that Talal sings in the joy of her son.

It is reported that the late Talal Al-Maddah died in the summer of 2000 in the city of Abha and fell dead on the Muftaha theater, embracing his oud.

Hours before that, specifically at the Jeddah Festival, Talal Maddah sat embracing his return. These are moments of Jeddah singing regarding its sea, its people and its streets, moments of an unspoken farewell, and the attendees felt that the deer of the age still suffers from health problems, and Jeddah listened to the sound of the earth for the last time.

Doctors advised Talal Maddah to take a rest and stay away from appearing in concerts, but the next stop was Abha’s summer and festival, which became famous, and an invitation arrived to Maddah, and he accepted it despite the doctors’ advice, and said goodbye to his family members, saying: You will see in Abha what you have not seen before.

And Talal Maddah left, to Abha, who has long sung with her goodness and beauty. And at the Muftaha theater in Abha, where Saudis gather every summer to enjoy the giants of Gulf music,

The night of Friday, August 11, 2000, was an extraordinary night; Where Talal Maddah sang for a long time, in his last singing, the sound of the earth was suffering in silence without attracting anyone’s attention,

He had no choice but to bear that annoying pain in order to be on the date he struck with his supporters, amid an unprecedented public reception; Where more than three thousand people stood to greet him when he appeared on the stage with cheers and applause.

The official television and satellite channels were broadcasting live broadcasts of the exciting moments, and there was no cause for concern. Talal Al-Maddah continued to sing the poem of Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen, until the unexpected happened.

The giant of the rapture staggered and fell to the ground, and those around him rushed to him, the television broadcast stopped, and the news of the sound of the earth was cut off.
