On the morning of this Wednesday, May 1, a shooting occurred in a building located in the Laureles neighborhood of Medellín.
The events occurred when a group of thieves tried to attack the building.
The criminals, who apparently wore uniforms similar to those of the CTI, managed to enter the building by bypassing the security personnel of a company.
This generated suspicions among the residents and employees of the place, who alerted the Police.
The reaction of the authorities was immediate and they sent uniformed officers to the scene.
However, upon arrival, the agents were met with gunfire from the assailants, which began an exchange of gunfire.
In the midst of the shooting, a police officer lost his life and another was injured, being rushed to a nearby care center.
Public order
Despite the confrontation, one of the assailants was captured.
The other subjects managed to escape in a KIA SPORTAGE model truck with plates LCU759-8, apparently this plate would be altered, the vehicle is being searched by the authorities.
This incident has generated commotion in the Laureles neighborhood and the authorities remain on alert to capture the rest of those responsible and clarify the events that occurred.
