A plane with Minister Caroline Cayeux on board ends its off-piste landing at Orly

Storms and a big scare at Orly. An ERJ 145 regional transport aircraft from the Fly Amelia company, which included the Minister of Territorial Cohesion and Relations with local authorities on board, left the runway when it landed on Thursday evening. The official Paris airports account earlier clarified that all passengers were “disembarked and taken care of by airport staff”.

The Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Bureau (BEA) said it had dispatched four investigators to the scene. A “security investigation” has been opened.
