A plane with 97 Lithuanian citizens from Israel landed in Vilnius

The twice-delayed flight was organized by Avia Solutions Group company Skyllence and was also delayed on Wednesday night.

As Skyllence manager Vilma Vaitiekūnaitė told LRT radio on Wednesday, 141 people and babies took off from Tel Aviv, including 97 Lithuanian citizens and 27 Israeli citizens, the rest are citizens of other countries.

The aircraft was also carrying a group of several dozen pilgrims who were in the Israeli-occupied West Bank during the weekend attack by the Hamas group.

According to the data published by Lithuanian institutions over the weekend, about 7 thousand people live in Israel. of Lithuanian citizens, about fifteen hundred stayed in the country temporarily.

On Tuesday, Lithuania sent a Spartan military aircraft to the Middle East. This transport plane with 38 seats will be in Turkey for a week in case Lithuanian citizens need other evacuation flights from Israel.
