A picture with her father’s body?!.. Iraqi artist: I am free and your thinking is limited

After she sparked widespread anger on social media, following she posted a selfie that was said to be of her father’s body, the Iraqi artist, Kadi Al-Qaisi, considered that she is free in her actions.

And she revealed, via Story, on her Instagram account that the photo was taken before the father’s death, not following.

She also continued, saying: “The first thing is the father, my father and I am free, the second thing. The picture is the last picture of my father before his death and he was sick. What is this world and what is this thinking, instead of having mercy, you write heart-wrenching words.”

And she re-published a picture of her with her father, considering that she is in a state of consolation, and her situation is difficult, adding: “My situation does not allow me to respond to matters of limited thinking. My parents have passed away and I pray to my Lord to forgive him, console him and prove him when asked,” according to her expression.

And she added that her father died following 9 months of fatigue due to a rise in sugar that led to a stroke and complete paralysis, saying: “Today I looked at him last, as if I felt this was the last time I saw him, and he really went and took my soul and saw him.”

It is noteworthy that the actress’s behavior caused an uproar on social media, as some considered it an insult to the sanctity of death, while others said it was a trade to achieve greater fame.

Although she broke her silence, confirming that the date of taking the photo was before her death, this did not satisfy her.

Kadi Al-Qaisi is an Iraqi artist who started her life designing jewelry and fashion, and then launched accounts on social networking sites to present her designs until she later entered the field of acting, and among her films: “Niss X Large”.
