A photograph has been published on the Web, which allegedly depicts the GeForce RTX 4080 graphics accelerator in the Founders Edition reference version.
Presumably, the photo was taken at a factory where new generation video cards are assembled. The image was shared by the VideoCardz portal, referring to an insider with a pseudonym KittyYukko.
According to the source of the photo, the upcoming GeForce RTX 4080 in the reference version is very similar to the current generation GeForce RTX 3090. This means that the card is equipped with a huge cooling system three expansion slots thick, which has one fan on each side.
The new RTX 4080 logo is striking in the photo. VideoCardz notes that the logo font is different from the “official font for GeForce graphics cards.” However, NVIDIA recently started using the new NVIDIA Sans NALA font on their official website. Its comparison with the font on the video card shows full compliance:
Rumors attribute the GeForce RTX 4080 to the AD103 (Ada Lovelace) GPU with 9728 CUDA cores, as well as 16 GB of GDDR6X memory at 23 Gb / s per pin.
