This was confirmed to LA RAZÓN by Major Assistant Jorge Luis López, in charge of the intervening fire department, being summoned by Communal Police personnel due to the emanation of smoke from one of the vehicles, together with two SAME transfer units, emergency service, which proceeded to transfer the occupants of both vehicles.
“We were summoned by a smoke emanation from the Volkswagen engine, upon the arrival of the crew under my charge, we found that the occupant of the Citroen was slightly trapped inside the vehicle, so we proceeded to force the vehicle door, and proceed to immobilize the person, in collaboration with SAME personnel; emergency service, being able to carry out the rescue with the corresponding precautionary measures”, López explained, “being transferred to the Municipal Hospital, while a second SAME unit devoted itself to the care of the occupants of the Volkswagen, a couple with two minor children, who suffered blows and minor injuries, being transferred to the local hospital anyway.”
“After the rescue, we cut the power of both vehicles, the CNG cut of the Volkswagen, verifying that there was no loss of fuel,” he closed.
