A PC that seems to be Surface Pro X2 (provisional) appears in the benchmark.Pretty good performance | Gizmodo Japan

I’m looking forward to the next generation Pro X!

Microsoft’s Surface Pro series that can be used like a tablet as well as a notebook PC. In that seriesSurface Pro X with Qualcomm chips instead of IntelWas a pretty good machine with excellent lightness of operation and battery life.

The next-generation machine may be coming soon.

Appeared in Benchmark Score

What appeared in the score list of the benchmark application “Geekbench”A mysterious Windows machine with Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3

Since the naming rule is the same as the past Surface series, “The new Surface model that uses Qualcomm’s chips = Surface Pro X2, right? Is expected.

Probably a prototype benchmark.

The score is close to the 11th generation Core i7. With this, if it has a battery like the original Pro X and has low heat generation, it seems to be quite good. The compatibility of apps, which was a weak point of the first generation, has almost disappeared in Windows 11.

It’s still a prototype, so it’s actually going to be unveiled from summer to autumn.

Since the first generation of Surface Pro X appeared in 2020, the CPU has been powered up a little and there are affordable models that omit LTE, but the major update has not been long.

I was even worried that “maybe it will disappear as it is …?”, But I feel relieved that a next-generation machine is planned.
