A patent for a Samsung phone with two screens

Samsung is developing a phone with two screens instead of one, as the company is developing a phone with a non-foldable back screen.

Samsung received a patent for an “electronic device consisting of a transparent screen” that was filed in January but was not published until this week.

The report said that the goal of this screen is to give a stylish design to the phone and at the same time the practical function. The electronic device may display something graphic necessary for shooting using the transparent screen or capturing a live view image of the subject depending on the environment in which the phone is used.

This screen can also be used for notifications only, and it also allows the phone user to use the rear camera to take selfies while what is being photographed is displayed on the screen.

There are hints in the patent that the second screen may be always on, and the patent also states that the screen is partially transparent at times.
