Steve Jobs introduced the very first Macintosh on January 24, 1984, which will soon be exactly forty years ago. We will obviously have the opportunity to return to this historic event right here on MacGeneration, I will say no more for the moment. If you don’t live too far from Paris, Guillaume Gete organize an event D-Day, namely Wednesday January 24, 2024, in less than a week. On the program, a conference which will retrace the history of the Mac followed by an evening around a bar and there will also be a few machines to try.

Presentation of the event.

The conference will be moderated by Guillaume Gete, who promises “full of surprises”, without saying more. He also specifies on his blog that the event will not be broadcast on video, due to lack of technical means to do it well. You will have to be there to take advantage of the event, at Liberté Living Lab more precisely, located in the second arrondissement of Paris.

If you are interested, you can still register at this address. Each place is sold at €15 and the event will start at 7 p.m. this Wednesday, January 24.
