A Palestinian youth was wounded by the occupation forces in Jerusalem

A Palestinian young man was wounded by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets on Friday evening, at Bab al-Silsa, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) stated that the occupation forces shot the young man and wounded him, the nature of which was unknown, and his identity was not known.

She said that the occupation forces closed Bab Al-Zahira and Bab Al-Amoud and prevented citizens from entering the Old City.

The occupation army claimed that it shot a young man who tried to seize a soldier’s weapon, but eyewitnesses confirmed that the young man intervened when the occupation soldiers assaulted a Palestinian girl.

It is noteworthy that a quarter of a million Palestinians performed the second Friday prayer of the month of Ramadan in Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the obstacles of the occupation at the military checkpoints around the city.

The occupation authorities prevent Palestinians from entering (Jerusalem) and allow women of all ages, children under 12 years old, and men over 55 years old to reach the city and pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque on Fridays during the month of Ramadan.
