ETNT: American nutritionist Green thinks avocados can reduce sugar cravings
A US dietitian named a fruit that can reduce sugar cravings. Her recommendations publishes Eat This, Not That! (ETNT)
According to Sydney Greene, the avocado is such a fruit. According to the Journal of Nutrition, 97 percent of women and 68 percent of men experience some form of sugar craving. As Greene explained, this craving comes from a lack of carbohydrates and protein in the diet.
“Avocados are a great example of a fruit rich in fiber and healthy fats that help fight sugar cravings,” says the American nutritionist.

Another factor in the desire to eat something sweet can be fluctuations in insulin and blood glucose levels. The fiber contained in avocados slows down digestion and reduces insulin surges, which also reduces cravings for sweets.
Greene recommends eating avocados with whole grain bread, salads, egg dishes, and desserts. In her opinion, this will help to stay full longer and relieve the desire to eat foods high in sugar.
Formerly nutritionists called foods that can help fight belly fat. Experts believe that some fruits contribute to this in the first place.
