A Palestinian Interior Ministry official announced the arrest of a handful of spies in Gaza who had intelligence cooperation with the Israeli regime.

The Palestinian intelligence agency arrested a number of spies working for the Israeli regime during the war on Gaza. The crime is under investigation.

Al-Jazeera reported that the official was quoted as saying on Thursday (15/8). He revealed that the Israeli regime had trapped the Gazans into their intelligence trap.

Israel also threatened to bomb the homes of Gazans and kill their families if they did not cooperate with the regime.

The dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, such as famine, has created a situation that the Israeli regime has exploited to torture the Gazan population through espionage.

Meanwhile, the government information office in Gaza reported the deaths of 1,000 sick and injured Palestinian children due to the closure of the Rafah crossing with Egypt in the past 100 days. (Ant/Z-2)
