A new rise of the dollar against the Sudanese pound.. the competition ignites between banks and the parallel market

On Monday, the dollar rose once morest the Sudanese pound in the parallel market and set a new record in Sudan, and the Sudanese pound has been witnessing a continuous decline due to the political crisis that the country has been experiencing for more than two years.

On Monday, March 14, 2022 in the parallel market, according to businessmen and dealers in the money market who spoke to the newspaper (Kush News) in Khartoum, the dollar recorded 610.00 pounds.

The Central Bank of Sudan stopped announcing an indicative price for the US dollar as of Tuesday, March 8, 2022 AD, and left setting the price to banks and exchanges, while on Monday a number of commercial banks announced dollar prices, ranging between 600-606 pounds to the dollar and competing with the parallel market.
