The Egyptian actress, Bushra, announced her resignation from the El Gouna Film Festival, following she was one of its founders, to join her colleague, director Amir Ramses, who resigned months ago at the end of the fifth session.
Through her account on the social networking site “Facebook”, Bushra announced the matter, noting that in light of global and cosmic changes, she had to keep pace with this change.
She reconsiders her journey to find something new and a different challenge, so she decided to end her journey with El Gouna Film Festival following 7 years of work.
With the end of her mandate, she was content with her participation in establishing and forming the work team, and contributing to the management and organization of this huge touristic film event, which was crowned with great success, and was a window for filmmakers.
And she is preparing for a new experience and sharing her experiences in other projects, provided that she is satisfied with her moral role only at the El Gouna Festival as a co-founder, without having an executive position.
Bushra explained that she came out of the experience with a huge amount of experiences, which is not insignificant, and it may be inspiring for her to present a book regarding her experience and the journey that contains many inspiring and interesting stories.
Bushra bid farewell to her colleagues at the El Gouna Festival, wishing them success, and concluded her sentence by saying, “I leave you and I am full of enthusiasm for my new position in the field of artistic production.”
Everyone remains waiting for the festival management, which will be held in its sixth session next October, to announce the names that will replace the departed, especially in the position of artistic director left by Amir Ramses, and who will succeed Bushra in her roles.
