Next Monday in Marijampole, Gedimino st. 96, the one X Maxima store in operation will be closed permanently.
“After closing this store for good, the very next day, November 26, we will invite customers to visit the newly opened One X store located right next to the old Maxima. The new chain store will be more spacious, offering a wider range of carefully selected goods, so we hope that customers will like it just as much as the old one and will become an even more popular place for everyday shopping”, says the director of the Communications and Corporate Relations Department of the Lithuanian shopping chain Maxima. Indrė Trakimaitė-Šeškuviene.
For the convenience of shoppers and the surrounding residents, during the construction of the new “Maxima” store, a pedestrian path was installed near Klaipėda Street, as well as the rainwater networks in Birštonas Street. During the construction of the shopping center building, investments were also made in better lighting in Klaipėda and Birštonas streets, ensuring greater safety of residents.
The modern shopping center building built on a former abandoned plot meets A++ energy efficiency standards. More than 30 trees were planted near the store, 72 parking spaces were installed, bike racks and posts for dogs were provided.
Considering the growing number of electric cars, charging stations for electric cars were also installed near the store. In the near future, it is also planned to install additional fast charging stations for electric cars.
There will be slightly more employees in this store than in the old one – as many as 25. It will be possible to pay for goods in this store at 2 regular and 7 new generation self-service cash registers, so the payment will be not only more convenient, but also faster.
In addition, clothing, cosmetics, flower shops, a meat shop and a veterinary clinic will also be located in the same building where the new Maxima will operate. The shop will be waiting for customers every day from 8 am. until 10 p.m.
