Philip Morris Egypt announced the new price list for all its heated tobacco products, “HEETS” and “TEREA,” and all types of traditional cigarettes from the “Merit, Marlboro, and L&M” brands, according to a statement today, Sunday.
The official price list for Philip Morris Egypt products per package following the increase became as follows:
– Merit package of all kinds: 85 pounds.
– Marlboro packages of all kinds: 79 pounds.
– Marlboro Crafted package of all kinds: 69 pounds.
– L&M packages of all kinds: 59 pounds.
– HEETS Selections package of heated tobacco: 64 pounds.
– HEETS Dimensions package of heated tobacco: 64 pounds.
– A package of all types of heated tobacco “TEREA”: 64 pounds.
The company confirmed that the new prices are transparently announced on product packages through the quick response link “QR code” that has been placed on packages of traditional cigarettes and heated tobacco rolls since 2022, calling on retailers and distributors to adhere to the announced prices, according to the statement.
Ali Nefzat Karman, General Manager of Philip Morris Egypt and Levant, said, “The company continues to work hard to meet the needs of smokers and adult nicotine users in the Egyptian markets and support the transition towards a smoke-free future in line with the ambitious strategy set by the company.”
