In the new Senegalese government, there are those who remain, in strategic positions: Sidiki Kaba Minister of the Armed Forces, Aïssata Tall Sall in Foreign Affairs, Antoine Félix Diome in the Interior… This is also the case for Marie Khémesse Ngom Ndiaye to Health, following several scandals in the sector in recent months.
Big surprise, on the other hand, in the Economy: it is Oulimata Sarr, hitherto regional director of the United Nations agency UN Women, who replaces Amadou Hott. As for the constitutionalist Ismaïla Dior Fall, he was appointed Keeper of the Seals.

We can also note the return of Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, appointed to Agriculture. And then, a change at the Ministry of Sports, two months before the FIFA World Cup in Qatar: Yankhoba Diattara replaces Matar Ba.
It’s a ” fighting government ” and of ” challenges “, had said the secretary general of the presidency. ” All regions of Senegal are represented “, declared Luc Sarr adviser to the Head of State on public radio and television. ” There is no political logic “, according to him.
This new government is taking shape as the opposition has largely gained ground in the last elections, and before the next election: the presidential election scheduled for 2024.
