A new generation of healthy AirPods

A new report revealed that Apple is working to provide the AirPods with features to track the user’s health data by including new sensors capable of measuring a number of vital activities in the ear, according to the “aitnews” website.

The report, published by Apple Insider, quoting leaks made by (Mark Gurman), a journalist specializing in Apple news, said that the AirPods will turn into a health tool during the next year or the next, and that the new tools that the headphones will provide will be an extension of the health features provided by the Apple Watch.

Patents previously registered by Apple also indicated that the company is working on introducing new biosensors in AirPods, using the PPG sensor, which measures changes in blood volume in tissues using light. This sensor is used to measure blood flow, oxygen saturation levels in the body, and pulse rate. The information also indicates that the stethoscope may provide an electrocardiogram sensor and an electrical response sensor for the skin.

It is noteworthy that the current generation of AirPods headphones offers features to improve the user’s hearing, such as the Live Listen feature, which helps the user to better listen to conversations in noisy places with the help of iPhone phones, as the user can bring the phone closer to the speaker to amplify his voice and deliver it to the speaker at the expense of other sounds in the background. . The Conversation Boost feature in the latest generation of AirPods Pro helps the hearing impaired better hear nearby conversations automatically and without the help of a phone.
