And this title, just like his old and new compositions, will be part of his next show. Moreover, it is in February that he will begin this new series of concerts which will lead him to leave the Iles-de-la-Madeleine, where he has been established for 2 years, to return to present his material in his native Gaspésie. Even though he took part in ROSEQ’s last summer tour, opened for Les 2 Frères and offered several sold-out solo performances since 2019, this project is, in a way, the realization of his professional aspirations since it was at home, in Grande Rivière, that his dream of a career in music was born. “We did summer venues, smaller stage formats in the summer then, this winter, I’m lucky to be able to perform near Sainte-Anne, Gaspé, Chandler in large venues then it’s fun because we’ve come up with a formula that’s really suited to that. Still the same Benny on the stage for example, stories. What I like is telling the story behind each song and having contact with the public. And, even if there are going to be a lot more instruments than in the summer formula, well, we’re going to keep that… The staging is done in such a way as to keep in touch with the audience as I like to have it” concludes the one who hopes to unveil his EP in early 2023.
