Fuel prices witnessed a new decline at fuel distribution stations in Morocco, on Thursday morning, September 26, 2024.
This decline is due to both gasoline and gasoline.

In this context, one liter of gasoline decreased by an approximate average price of 30 cents, while the average price of gasoline decreased slightly, estimated at 0.20 cents per liter.

These new reduced prices have been implemented at gas stations in various regions of the Kingdom, starting today, Thursday.

Based on these new data, the price of one liter of gasoline has become approximately 11 dirhams and 80 centimes, while one liter of gasoline is sold at a price of approximately 13 dirhams and 70 centimes.

For reference, fuel prices vary relatively from one distributor to another, according to the pricing policy followed by each company. Prices also differ from one city to another, due to the high transportation costs depending on the distance each region is from the city of Mohammedia.

The Competition Council had reached agreements with 9 companies active in the fuel markets in Morocco to perform a reconciliatory settlement amounting to one billion and 840 million and 410 thousand dirhams, due to their violation of competition rules and laws. This decision comes in accordance with the investigation procedure initiated by the competent departments of the Council, where complaints were reported to nine (9) companies active in the markets of supply, storage and distribution of gasoline and gasoline, and to the professional organization of these companies, due to possible practices that are contrary to the rules of competition in the fuel market.
