A single click separates us from a pair of shoes or other articles of clothing. In reality, however, there are hundreds of kilometers between the retailers’ goods and our door, as well as an entire distribution chain. Therefore, the closer you are to customers, with more merchandise, the better. And for that you need deposits.

In the last year, more and more international retailers, especially from Poland, have chosen Romania to make their new merchandise distribution centers. This means that the pair of shoes reaches us faster, but also that others will leave here for our neighbors in Bulgaria, Croatia or Greece.

The logistic and industrial market in Romania is heading towards a stock of over 7 million square meters this year. To get a clearer picture of what all those square meters mean where food, clothes, electronics and other goods are stored, imagine 1,000 football fields. Lands full of product shelves, packaging lines and robots moving goods.

It seems like a lot, but Romania is still far from Eastern European countries in this regard: Poland exceeds us four times, and the Czech Republic has over 10 million square meters of industrial and logistics spaces.
