During a recent meeting of members, Diabète Bois-Francs presented its new ambassador: Diabèto.
In the fall of 2021, the idea of a mascot germinated in the minds of the members of the board of directors of Diabète Bois-Francs. The coordinator does research and estimates the cost of this big dream. Following a few discussions, Diabète Bois-Francs embarked on the adventure and to make this project a reality, reached out to a few partners for financial support.
Diabète Bois-Francs would like to thank Eric Lefebvre, MP for Arthabaska, Alain Rayes, MP for Richmond-Arthabaska, Desjardins Caisse des Bois-Francs, the City of Victoriaville and the MRC of Arthabaska. Their financial support makes a difference in this project.
Diabèto will therefore follow Diabète Bois-Francs in its various activities. You are likely to meet him at screening clinics, at the walk on November 14 or at conferences. It is one more tool to raise awareness of Diabète Bois-Francs.
