A mound and burial mound have been found within the Aukštadvaris regional park  Tradition

The second Mound of Mosha dates once more to the primary millennium.

It’s lined with a forest: brambles, lindens, hazel timber, honeysuckle. On the positioning, widespread primroses, multi-flowered white roots, forest lilies, trisquiautes violets, and medicinal lungs are blooming.

The location of the mound has an irregular quadrangular form, the slopes are steep – as much as 16 meters excessive. The ramparts stay, and between the ramparts there’s a ditch regarding three meters broad.

Shards of molded pottery have been discovered on the foot of the mound.

“The not too long ago newly found single barrow, named Čižiūnai II, additionally falls into the Skrebis Botanical Reserve,” the report states.

In line with him, it seems to be a hill standing out on a flat terrain. This barrow is regarding ten meters in diameter and regarding 1.50 meters excessive, containing the stays of a crown of stones.

Scientists date it to the second half of the center of the primary millennium.

Drone pilot Gytis Juodėnas, who owns a homestead close by, seen these cultural heritage objects.

In 2005, the Moša archaeological reserve was established in Skrebis botanical reserve.

Already the eighth mound and the fourth single barrow have been discovered on the territory of the Aukštadvaris regional park.
