A five-year-old girl was poisoned by ingesting an insecticide in the Remedios de Escalada neighborhood of the city of Córdoba, the Police reported.
Psychologists will continue to provide care to Apross members but will not stop their claim for low fees
The case
The episode occurred around 1:35 on Tuesday in a home located at 300 Ramírez Street.
“Apparently he had ingested it accidentally due to a confusion between his mother and her partner. As a result of ingestion, the minor began to convulse.”explained inspector commissioner Rubén Brandán.
According to one version The mother would have mistakenly given cockroach poison to her five-year-old daughter, since the insecticide would have been placed in the same container as a medication that the girl was taking..

The little girl suffered seizures and had to be referred first to the Elpidio Torres Hospital and then to the Children’s Hospital, where she was diagnosed with poisoning and remains hospitalized for observation.
The circumstances under which the incident occurred are being investigated, police sources indicated.
