The Civil nationwide police and the Public ministry (MP) carried out greater than 50 raids in it Guatemalan territory in search of folks associated to extortion.
The MP reported that the proceedings had been carried out this Wednesday, Could 29 in Jalapa, Escuintla, El Progreso, Santa Rosa, Suchitepéquez, Sacatepéquez, Izabal and Guatemala.
Personnel from the Prosecutor’s Workplace towards the Crime of Extortion participated within the operations and coordinated some 59 errands searches searching for illicit objects and proof for extortion investigations.
Francisco Jiménez, head of the Ministry of the Inside, reported folks detained for being associated to extortion actions.
