At regarding 11:00 last night (24th), a woman surnamed Wang (50 years old) returned to her apartment in the Metropolis Building, King’s Road, North Point. Covering his mouth and nose, he took the opportunity to grab his handbag, and fled following he succeeded. Wang’s wife returned to the unit in a hurry. After she was shocked, she informed her husband of the incident and notified the security guard to report the case for help.
Police officers arrived at the scene to block the entrance and exit of the building. After some searching, they found nothing. After a preliminary understanding of the incident, the case was classified as a robbery and handed over to the Eastern District Police District Criminal Investigation Team to follow up. Wang’s wife felt unwell because of the smell of suspected Tianna water, and was accompanied by her husband to the hospital for treatment. After counting, she believed that the victim lost regarding HK$1,000 in cash in her handbag, as well as a batch of personal belongings.
