a micro Oled screen to take anywhere on your nose

The Lenovo T1 glasses are intended to be a very practical secondary screen, especially for all users who travel a lot or who handle sensitive data.

The connected glasses market is not taking off yet (will it one day?), but Lenovo, like other manufacturers, seems to continue to believe in it. The Chinese giant has unveiled a new model called Glasses T1.

Two ideas underlie this product: the portability of a virtually very large screen and the privacy benefits they can provide. No one can read the screen over your shoulder. Charged with USB-C, the Glasses T1 indeed integrate two micro Oled screens (in other words, miniaturized Oled screens) with a definition of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. We have already seen this type of technology in drone helmets, such as the DJI Avata for example.

If you have glasses, it is expected

In the box, you will find in particular a frame allowing you to use the glasses with your own glasses if you wear them every day. To continue on the comfort options, Lenovo has had its glasses certified by TÜV (reduction of blue light or even flickering).

As mentioned above, Lenovo is particularly targeting workers with this product. The idea being that these glasses, capable of connecting by cable with a Windows PC, macOS, or on Android or iOS, can act as a secondary screen, completely impervious to attempts to read above the shoulder.

The Lenovo Glasses T1 hit the Chinese market in late 2022 before expanding to other horizons in 2023. Pricing is yet to be determined.
