Lebanese singer Maisa Qaraa’s new song “TT” crossed the two million mark, following it was posted on the YouTube video site.
The song embodies a message of hope for every woman who suffers from society’s prejudices regarding her appearance and beauty by wrong standards, and gives a message of optimism from the perspective that every girl is beautiful in her own way, and beauty is the beauty of the soul and thought, not just the outward appearance. , according to a statement.
The song plays on a sensitive chord at the present time, as everyone is preoccupied with fake social networking sites with unreal aesthetic standards, with the majority of women seeking to reach exaggerated and unrealistic standards.
During the song, Maisa mixes Arabic and English languages, during which she collaborates with the Egyptian, Sudanese-American producer Moez Daoud, while the video clip is directed by Elie.
Maysa Qaraa, an American-Lebanese singer, was nominated for a Grammy Award for her first English-language album, “Simple Treatment”, and participated with artist Hussein Al Jasmi in the performance of the official song for the “Expo 2020 Dubai” festival. She is currently working as Artistic Director at Berklee College of Music in Abu Dhabi.
Maysa also participated in the famous movie “American Fraud”, by performing her own Arabic version of the famous 1960s song “White Rabbit”. Her song “My Life”, produced by Academy Award-winning music producer ER Rahman, achieved first place on the “Apple Music India” platform, contributing to the huge success of “Cheka Shivantha Vanam” at the box office in India.
