A 25-year-old American was arrested following robbing a convenience store with a plastic gun, used to play “Duck Hunt”.

A totally failed robbery. In South Carolina, a 25-year-old young man was arrested following trying to rob a convenience store on Tuesday, May 30 using a fake gun designed for a video game Nintendo. David Joseph Dalesandro robbed the grocery store in Sharon, a small town in northwestern South Carolina, using a pistol used in the game Duck Hunt, released in 1985 in the United States. According to witnesses cited by a press release from the sheriff’s office, David Joseph Dalesandro entered the establishment wearing a wig, hoodie and mask. He then allegedly asked for around $300 at the checkout pointing to the dummy gun he was carrying on his belt.

Sheriff’s deputies found the young man in the parking lot of a store not far from the scene of the robbery. Still equipped with his pistol, he was arrested and placed behind bars. He is charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and larceny.
