Toluca- After being run over by the driver of a cargo truck, a man who was riding a bicycle died in the San Mateo Oxtotitlán delegation in Toluca, State of Mexico.
According to reports, the victim might not be identified at the scene, and the alleged perpetrator fled.
The events happened this Saturday followingnoon on Adolfo López Mateos and Filiberto Navas avenues almost in front of the entrance to Parque Sierra Morelos.
The victim was driving in the direction of Ciudad Universitaria, police said, when the hit-and-run occurred at that moment.
An ambulance from the Emergency Service of the State of Mexico SUEM was required to the place, however, the paramedics confirmed the death of the male person who wore dark clothes, in addition, black boots.
Elements of the Toluca Municipal Public Security Directorate cordoned off the scene and requested the intervention of the Public Ministry.
Thus, the authorities of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico FGJEM, following the proceedings, removed the body to the Institute of Expert Services for the law necropsy.
